牛奶海Datong Museum is one of a group of cultural and art museums built in the south of Datong Municipal Government in the new district in recent years. It is adjacent to Datong Art Museum, Datong Theatre and Datong Library. The exterior design of the museum building is relatively modern, and the internal space is relatively large. Mainly the classification is displayed and introduced to the historical and cultural development process of Datong. The collection is rich, interesting and knowledgeable. Transportation is also more convenient.

蓝星旅行者🏯 The crown of the building was built in Ming Hongwu for 25 years (1392). It is the photo wall of the 13th son Wang Zhugui Mansion of Zhu Yuanxuan, the Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanxuan. It is the earliest and largest Kowloon wall in China (long 45.5 meters, 8 meters high,2.02 meters thick). Far beyond the dragon wall of Beijing Forbidden City and Beihai Park. The whole wall is made up of 426 glazed components, yellow, green, blue, purple and other colors, nine dragons tossed between the waves of the sea of clouds, the scales of the dragon body superimposed in strips, the dragon claws are four-toed (different from the royal five claws), highlighting the identity of the king. 🐉 Art Code Sumizu: girded waist-encrusted double-layer glazed beasts, dragons, lions, tigers and other Rui beasts interlaced with small dragons, carvings are smart. 偷闲的小螺When I went to the beginning of the month, due to the suspension of some programs and light shows, I have not seen it. It is a pity that Datong is a city where food, history and modern civilization coexist. I will definitely revisit it again if I have the opportunity.

_TI***d9It's a pretty massive monastery with lots of temples inside. They have smaller venues for food and drinks but were mostly empty when I went. It's probably much busier during peak tourism seasons in China, but in the off season there will be people but not much crowding or lines. I recommend a stop here if you are coming to Datong. They have a tall lookout temple that takes a bit of effort to climb. And a temple at the back where the monks were performing a ceremony (no cameras allowed). Overall it was an interesting place to explore with nice greenery and murals. But there's not much English text so you may need to pull out a camera to translate.

骑着蜗牛赶绿灯Shanhua Temple is really worth a visit! The temple is preserved with four Liaojin wooden structures, all of which are the highest-grade temple roofs in ancient China. The buildings are thick and simple, showing the magnificent wind of Liaojin, especially the oblique arches of the Daxiong Palace, which are like blooming flowers, exquisite and shocking. The four statues of the kings of heaven in different shapes on both sides of the mountain gate are also highlights, one of which is full of germination.

ALuizGreat site to visit with incredible things to see! Easy site to walkthrough and very organized (even with lots of people). We went using DiDi and it was easy and inexpensive. Really recommended! Must see!
