Joey1983The view is beautiful. Cost is very reasonable. I took rental car which took only 3 hours from Beijing. I stayed at Benlia hotel which I strongly recommend. The hotel is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in term of service, cost, location. Only downside is I should have plan to stay more.

LaoneeCome on New Year's Day and take a picture of the Yuan egg on the top of the mountain. The 9 advanced trails are skiable enough. I recommend Dandelion and Wild Rose, which have long snow trails. There are few people on the cable car No. 6, and it is just right to get on the cable car when you get down from Wild Rose. All the facilities are good, but the food is a bit poor.

yjw2000Dajingmen Scenic Area, located at the north end of Zhangjiakou City, towering between the east and west Taiping Mountains, is a famous Great Wall pass, the key of the border pass, the situation is dangerous, and it has always been a place for soldiers. Built in the first year of Qingshunzhi (1644 AD) has a history of more than 300 years. The gate is based on stone, blue brick, 12 meters high. There is a large platform at the top for visitors to visit. The brick Great Wall westward is about 100 meters, and the horse road more than 3 meters wide at the top of the Great Wall is directly to the West Taiping Mountain. You can visit the better preserved Maoshi Great Wall. The Maoshi Great Wall is built by Maoshi Leiji Mountain and sewed with white and gray, which is very strong. Dajingmen Scenic Area integrates the Great Wall culture, historical relics and ethnic exchanges, and integrates sightseeing, summer vacation and patriotic education in one comprehensive tourist resort.

DanPalpaThis is a good ski resort with a decent selection of runs suitable for all levels of skier. The queues for the lifts get a bit too long and you can end up waiting a long time to get up the mountain which is frustrating. I also got a bit frustrated with having to scan QR codes on the ticker to register my face for the entry gate, as it wouldn't work with a foreign name. I've got my ticket - just let me in already!

M27***17Mei Jie's 71st day of traveling in China, Zhangjiakou Zhangbei Bashang Grassland Heavenly Road At the junction of Zhangbei County and Chongli District in Zhangjiakou, there is a winding asphalt road of more than 100 kilometers. It stretches across the mountains with the ups and downs of the mountains. The scenery on both sides of the road is beautiful, with rivers, mountains, meadows and terraces, like a hundred-mile painting! The blue sky connects with it, and the white clouds echo with it, just like walking on the road to heaven! The most suitable season for Bashang Grassland is from the end of June to the end of September. The air on the grassland is pure, there is little pollution, and it is also cool in summer. I was unlucky today. It was raining intermittently on Bashang. The sky was always overcast, and occasionally the sun poured down through the clouds, which was a different taste. I still felt cool wearing long sleeves, it is worthy of being a summer resort~

Anonymous userThe ancient city wall appeared to be newly renovated; there were people at the entrance selling tickets—35 yuan online, 40 yuan on-site, and 5 yuan for parking. The weather changed when I went, so I didn't go up the city wall. There are several gates around it...

M87***36Walking on the ancient road, looking at the deep ruts on both sides, lamenting the wonderful dialogue of time and space. I strolled through the ancient street, stepped on the historical slabs, felt the footprints of the ancestors, every step was a vision of history. The road under my feet, six hundred years ago, some people also stepped foot, what kind of mood did they then? Those old gray brick houses, ancient city walls, as if talking about the glory and loneliness.
