About 30 minutes from Tangshan city centre, this wonderful ancientstyle water town has a lot to do. Night views are amazing. The boat cruise and the awesome live show are recommended. So many shops and different food stalls. You could easily spend a full day here but it's probably best to come once during the day and once at night. Can get VERY crowded on weekend nights. It's quite comfortable to walk around the ancient town of Longquan in Hebei! There are antique buildings inside, and it feels quite interesting to walk on the stone road. There are many small shops on the roadside, selling special snacks and gadgets, and you won't feel bored just walking around. The staff are very friendly and patiently answer questions when asking for directions or consulting. The scenic area is very clean and the road surface is flat, which is convenient for both elderly and children. When the lights are on in the evening, the ancient town looks more atmospheric and beautiful for taking pictures. Nandaihe is accessible by beidaihe (around 20m for 30-40RMB). We spent a day at the beach, we went over to ‘fairy conch island’ via the cable car. I would recommend getting there early as soon as it opens to start queuing as we were stood for around 2hours. On the island there is multiple rides which only cost 20-30rmb a go, bungee jumping for 180rmb, scuba diving etc. You could spend an entire day there and not get bored. Food and drink is slightly on the pricey side over on the island (10RMB for a small bottle of water) so would recommend to bring supplies over with you especially in the hot weather.

Yass!!! I went to visit my friends in Shijiazhuang and they took me to eat and to sightsee in Zhengding! I really enjoyed so much the amazing quiet and peaceful ancient city there is so much to see; the ancient temple, the streets, city wall, lots of different towers! We came early ~ later there were so many tourists as we were leaving the temple. Highly recommend!

I wish to have this in my country. Everything was perfect and mesmerising. One complaint though, the venue is a bit unfriendly to foreign tourist as it's wechat small application can't be logged in by foreign number, causing some event ticket cannot be purchased. I hope it can be improved.
