MorkaiQixingyan Scenic Area is located in Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province. It is a district of Xinghu Scenic Area with a total area of 8.23 square kilometers. It belongs to karst landform and is known as "fairyland on earth" and "the first wonder of Lingnan". It has been a tourist destination since the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Qixingyan Scenic Area is mainly characterized by peaks, caves, lakes, inscriptions, and Taoist temples. The main attractions include Shuiyueyanyun, Xingyan Chunxiao, Tianzhu Zhaixing and other attractions. According to legend, in ancient times, an old fisherman led the whole village to build a mountain on the reef. The Jade Emperor was moved by them and ordered the Hercules Liu Ding and Liu Jia to help the fishermen build the mountain. After tens of thousands of years, the sea receded and the rock mountain rose. The seven rock mountains are arranged like the Big Dipper in the sky, standing tall above the vast Li Lake.
