It's not a lunch or dinner place, but if you specifically need some good pancakes, this is the place. Nice variety of sweet and salty options. The place looks cool and seems to attract people. I didn't notice any sign, but they do not accept card. Cash only business. If there was a sign, maybe not in English, or it was well hidden. Didn't come up until paying the meal.
Pancakes in Greece are quite unknown to the general public. It is considered to be something like the greek tiganites. The pancakes in Melikon are not like the American type ones I eat in London. First they are too small and too thin. They offer the cheap sugar syrup instead of the proper maple syrup. Its taste was good by its texture was a little crispy, something I dislike in pancakes. Pancake in melinicon are served in any imaginative combination. With bacon or chocolate or fruit or vegetable etc. Very bad practice in my opinion because it covers the taste of pancake. The pancake that I ordered, was with sugar syrup. I was disappointed. My opinion is that they should be offered in three layers with plenty maple syrup like in USA. The service was polite and quite fast. The restaurant cafe is narrow with small tables but very well decorated. The white valrhona hot chocolate was made perfectly. I really enjoyed. I will visit it again but not for pancakes.
