普普坦廣場

Futile suicidal stand of the rajasThis is a quite impressive public square, it commemorates the heroic but suicidal stand of the rajas of Badung against the invading Dutch in 1906. A monument depicts a Balinese family in heroic pose, brandishing the weapons that were so ineffective against the Dutch guns. The gardens are very attractive with floral beds, shrubbery, impressive trees, fountains, monuments and walkways throughout. Although there were many people in attendance on the day, including numerous high school students, an air of reverence pervaded the area. Worth negotiating with a good guide for a reasonably detailed history of the place and the genocidal practices of the Dutch during early settlement.

這個廣場屬於這一片的中心，包括紀念碑和一些博物館以及景點都圍繞着這個廣場分佈的。廣場上面還有一些雕塑可以看一下。標誌性的建築就是紀念碑了。

Second, the religious culture of Bali is fascinating. Indonesia basically believes in Islam, but only Bali believes in Hinduism. 這個廣場其實不大，應該算是一個標配吧，人倒是挺多的當地人也很喜歡來，這裏還碰到了好幾個來拍婚紗照的，我們是來参觀紀念碑的時候過來的。

這個廣場就在紀念碑這裏。紀念碑在廣場的中央。在這裏你會看到很多當地的新人過來拍照。這裏成為了當地一個拍照勝地吧，景觀倒是非常普通。
