Show More ReviewsIn summer, going to the fishing port to buy seafood is a must. Every afternoon, fishing boats arrive, laden with fresh catches: lively shrimp, crabs in their shells, and all sorts of fish I've never seen before. The prices are more than half the price of those at the market, and you can choose your own. After you've made your selection, there are restaurants nearby that will cook it for you for a small fee. The fresh seafood is incredibly delicious even with simple cooking; every bite is bursting with the salty, savory flavor of the sea—far better than what you get in restaurants. After buying your seafood, you can sit at one of the open-air food stalls on the shore, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the fishing boats come and go. The sunset paints the sea a beautiful golden-red. After your meal, you can stroll along the shore, picking up pretty stones, walking slowly and chatting. All your stress is blown away by the sea breeze. This kind of leisurely stroll through the fishing port is truly a rare treat.
