漢諾瓦廣場聖喬治教堂

The Georgian-style church building, funded by 50 new church-building committees, was completed in 1731 and is the highlight of the town. Just a few steps from the city centre, churches and sites were later severely damaged by bombing during World War II.

The Anglican Church in Mayfair is a two-minute walk from the British Museum. It is usually open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every day. It is designed by architect Nicholas Hawksmoor and has a statue of King George I.

The church was built by King Peter I of the former Yugoslavia. After several extensions and repairs, it has become the scale of today. There are very complicated sculptures inside and outside the church, and beautiful murals inside.

Now St. George's Church is only a small part of the complex. There are only a few sites left as a church. Then it was used as a military camp in the 18th century and later became a national gallery.

The church is situated behind St. Vita's Church. It's actually a relic, because the only remaining parts are the Tower and the two minarets, but it's worth visiting. There are many tourists.
