How to get there: Get off at Universal City Station and follow the crowd. Originally planned to do an open run but arrived at 8:15 due to fatigue. The bag check and ticket verification were done in an instant, and it took less than 20 minutes to get in. I pre-registered my ticket on the app and received a Nintendo World timed entry ticket right after entering, valid from 11:50 to 12:50. While walking around, I didn’t have to wait much and could explore and eat right away. However, after the WaterWorld show ended at 16:45, the crowd coming out of the show and Nintendo World caused a traffic jam.

The park announced it would open at 9:00 AM, but it actually opened at 8:30 AM. Arriving early gives you a big advantage! ⸻ 🦖 08:30 AM – Jurassic Park Zone Head straight to The Flying Dinosaur, the most popular ride in this zone. ✨ The benefit of arriving early: almost no waiting time. It’s super fun! Next, enjoy the Jurassic Park – The Ride water adventure. The wait wasn’t long. If you’re worried about getting wet, bring a raincoat, but you won’t get soaked. ⸻ 🪄 10:00 AM – The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Stroll around and take photos in the Hogsmeade village to your heart’s content. 🍺 Stop by for Butterbeer and wand-shaped churros. 10:30 AM – Queue up for the Hogwarts Castle tour, which took about 30 minutes. The atmosphere inside feels like stepping into the movie. Then, check out the wand selection show at Ollivanders. The queue is a bit long, but it’s very impressive. 🍗 12:30 PM – Lunch at Three Broomsticks There’s plenty of seating, and the lakeside view of Hogwarts Castle is perfect for recharging before continuing your adventure. 📱 Tip: Quickly reserve your time slot for the Nintendo zone via the USJ app as soon as you enter the park. We got a slot in the afternoon around 1:30–2:00 PM. ⸻ 🍄 1:35 PM – Super Nintendo World This zone is very crowded, especially with kids. It’s lively but can feel a bit cramped. However, the vibrant colors make every corner photo-worthy. 2:20 PM – Queue up for Donkey Kong. Initially, the wait time was announced as 3 hours, but it turned out to be about 2 hours (still long 😅). However, once you get on the ride, it’s totally worth it—so much fun! ⸻ 💦 4:30 PM – WaterWorld Show Initially planned to just sit and rest, but the show was more spectacular than expected. It’s exciting and absolutely worth watching. ⸻ 🚃 5:00 PM – Leave before the park closes The advantage is avoiding the crowd on the train ride back, making the journey much more comfortable. ⸻ ✅ Tips for visiting USJ without an Express Pass: · Arrive as early as possible. · Go for the popular rides first. · Quickly reserve your Nintendo zone time slot in the app. · Plan your schedule by nearby zones to minimize walking. · Allow time for breaks because walking all day can be exhausting. If you’re wondering whether it’s possible to enjoy USJ without an Express Pass, the answer is “Yes,” as long as you plan well and arrive early 💛🎢.

Visiting Universal Studios Japan in Osaka was a vivid and exciting experience for me. Right at the entrance, I felt the atmosphere of a real movie theater, and the bright decorations and themed zones created a sense of immersion in different films and adventures. I was especially impressed by the large-scale attractions and shows, which gave me a lot of emotions and adrenaline. For example, I rode the famous virtual reality attraction, where I felt like a hero of a fantastic world, and also enjoyed a spectacular show with effects and special effects. The entire park was filled with bright colors, sounds, and a festive atmosphere, making the walk very engaging. The themed zones with characters from popular movies and cartoons were particularly memorable, where you could take memorable photos. Overall, visiting Universal Studios Japan left a strong impression on me: this place is perfect for movie lovers, adventure seekers, and entertainment fans. I left feeling joyful and satisfied, already planning to return here again to dive back into a world of fantasy and magic.

📍 Universal Studios Japan A must-visit attraction in Osaka! I mainly explored the Super Nintendo World, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and Minion Park. The decorations in Super Nintendo World are incredibly adorable, making you feel like you've been shrunk and thrown into a video game to complete challenges. ❣️ Dining in the park can be quite crowded during meal times, with restaurants often fully packed and hard to find seating. It's recommended to avoid peak dining hours or make restaurant reservations in advance. On the day of our visit, after enjoying the attractions in Super Nintendo World, we wanted to dine at Kinopio's Café™, but the restaurant was overcrowded, and the waiting time was too long, so we gave up. In hindsight, it would have been better to arrive at Super Nintendo World early in the morning and make a reservation at the restaurant first, then enjoy the attractions and head to the restaurant afterward. 🌟 Must-see show recommendation - WaterWorld An impressive stunt show with explosive effects that you won't regret watching. 🏠 Accommodation: The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios Japan Located near the park, just a 7-minute walk away. Super Nintendo World 🍄 without buying Express A newly opened zone at Universal Studios Japan (Osaka) Many people know "Mario" mostly from the games they played as kids. It feels like you’ve actually entered the game. Mario fans will definitely love it. Inside this zone, there are 2 rides: · Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge · Yoshi's Adventure But I will review the Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge ride. Personally, I didn’t buy the Express Pass but got to enter this zone as one of the first groups. First, I woke up very early and arrived at the park at 6:30 AM. After the gates opened, everyone headed straight to this zone. I ran and ran. Once inside the zone, I rushed straight to Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge and got to ride it as the first group of the day. It was so exciting because after I finished, the wait time was about 180 minutes. Then I went to take photos at various spots.
