The gunpowder storage tower was built in the 14th century and rebuilt in the 16th century. It is 25.5 meters high and 3 meters thick. There were seven shells attacked by Russian forces in the 17th and 18th centuries on the outer walls. Now it's the Latvian Military Museum.

Mihulka Powder Tower is a Gothic gate in Prague's old city. One of the city's landmark buildings, built in 1475, was designed and built according to the model of the old city bridge tower of Charlie Bridge. It is the only one that survives in Prague's 13 gates.
