We had time to kill and were looking for a picnic place. BOY, did we luck out! Keep an eye on your time, however, as we could have spent hours here and sit was, we almost missed out flight!Upon arriving (and driving up up up on a somewhat muddy road), we parked and watched a coyote playing and hunting in the field below the rock outcrops. We met some interesting elder women who shared our picnic table and enlightened us with history and stories. Otherwise, we had the park to ourselves. The setting was gorgeous and there were lots of trails calling us--but we had to get to the airport. I was sad not to have ad the opportunity for a hike. It looked excellent!
