Edwin Dun Memorial Hall

As the name implies, this memorial is mainly used to commemorate the famous person Edwin. The area of the museum is very wide, and it seems a little empty. There are not many tourists here, so it is still quiet.

The Edwin Memorial was built during the Meiji Period to commemorate Edwin, one of the foreign leaders invited by the pioneering Ambassador of Hokkaido during the Meiji Period. He devoted himself to the development of cheese animal husbandry and dairy products, popularized the technology of meat processing, introduced large-scale farming tools, and made great contributions to the opening up of Hokkaido at that time. Local people built this building with white keynote and bright green roof in memory of him.

The museum is rich in information and clearly shows the history of Hokkaido. It was created in memory of foreign friends.

Built in memory of Edwin, it introduces Edwin's contribution to the development of Hokkaido.

To commemorate Edwin, the Meiji Hokkaido pioneer and one of the invited foreign leaders was specially built. The white roof and green roof are quite distinctive.
