猫空樟树步道是近几年台北地区极具特色和热门的登山步道。樟树步道在规划的时候考虑了当地农产品运输和人们登山健行两方面的需求而设计的平缓型步道，非常适合各年龄层休憩、赏景、共游。沿途以古朴的农村风情为主题，如相思炭窑、猪舍、牛车、茶园、埤塘、谷仓、土角厝、茶园、菜园等罗列其中，蕴含着当地人文历史，随着季节、花卉、作物收成，步道呈现多元丰富的面貌，值得民众前来品味体验。在这里每年1、2月份杏花盛开，茶树中夹杂的鲁冰花也会开放，非常漂亮；4、5月份是采摘春茶的日子，油桐花也开满了花，有“五月雪”的美称；6-9月份绿竹笋最好，可以品尝到绿竹笋风味餐；12月到1月份则是冬茶收获的季节。
