This is one of the tapas style restaurants owned by star Catalonian chef Carles Abellan. It is important to note that the full menu is only served Thursday-Saturday, the other days you can get about half of the menu at the Taverna part of the restaurant (you get a menu with little white dots next to the items that are not available). It is sitll worth going as dishes such as the oysters (ostra con manzanilla) and the coca tonyina are available but if you want the full experience wait for the weekend.
The food was so tasty, the portions were a decent size, we got 6 tapas dishes between four people and that was enough for us! There was very different dishes from the normal in Barcelona, including chicken crown and shark, all in all very tasty and enjoyable experience.
We visited on a Monday when they are not usually open so we missed out on a lot of dishes that we would have ordered. However we tried decal dished that were very good. I had a cold soup that tasted like a flan. The chicken looks weird but tasted well. The slow cooker beef was excellent. The bread with tomato paste was excellent. We need to try this again when it is a normal day for them.
Food was innovative and very tasty but the portions were very small. The dishes came out too fast for relaxed eating. The night we went was very busy, mainly with foreign tourists because of the restaurant's reputation. I think the wait staff needs more training in spacing courses and communication. However, they were very friendly and we had a fun night.
