This is one of the oldest churches in Norway. Unfortunately, when I went there, it was just being renovated. All the churches were closed and closed to the outside world. The surrounding environment and scenery are very beautiful. Walking around to see the scenery is a good choice.
Don't think that free is not free, it needs 30 kroner. When I went in, I was alone. After a while, a couple came in! Personally, I think it's better to go to the church in Oslo and there are people in that church who go to church and sing.
The roof of two green spires leads to Stavanger Cathedral. Towers in the middle of the church are being renovated. Most European landscapes are being renovated with a "canvas" that blends with their surroundings. However, this is not the case here. It's just a large white cloth wrapped from top to bottom, which is a bit dismal. The left and right towers are made of irregular stones, but only the surface is smoothed; the whole church has a long field of vision, all of which are made of large stones, and the painting style is more in line with the bold and unconstrained Nordic people, and the painted windows do not seem to be very gorgeous. When we arrived, the church was closed. Look at the introduction on tripadvisor. The ticket is 30NOK. The interior platform is very gorgeous and exquisite. There is a lake in front of the church. Swans and ducks are playing in the lake.
