I've eaten here two times both food have been simple and yet tasty. Inexpensive and modest restaurant. Restaurant doesn't feel very professional for example they microwave foods from the buffe table before give the thali plate. They have had 2-3 vegetarian foods in the thali plate.
Garam Masala Bufe is an unassuming buffet tucked away on Berzenczey Utca offering a very simple concept: a mixed plate of three dishes that constantly change ( always having three veggie options in case that is your thing) with a pile of pilau rice to eat in ( should you be lucky enough to grab the only table! ) or take away for 950 forints. For that price, you can't really complain about the basic nature of the restaurant, the owner is always friendly and the food is tasty, with the dals always a highlight.
