One of the best dinners we had in Sicily. We visited after we read the amazing reviews here and we highly recommend a visit. We ordered the tagliata to share between two for a reasonable price. The meat was delicious and the dessert was mouthwatering. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is very modern and a nice terrace.
We were staying in NH Centro and found this restaurant 50m away, unusually open on a Sunday evening. It looks nothing from the front door, but we were lead round to an amazing outdoor walled garden where we ate under a 300 year old tree. Slow service but it didn't bother us as we weren't in a rush, and they were very keen to help when we got their attention. Mainly fish, but also a vast selection of (large and very tasty) pizzas too.
We ate at Il Pozzo, since it was very close to our hotel and we were very tired. It is not in the central district. However we enjoyed eating there very much and we went there another time as well during our stay in Catania. The fish and pizza both were very good and they had excellent varieties of both. They have a lovely garden which we could not make use of because of the cool weather. The only deficiency was the speed of serving. They don't have enough people to serve so you have to wait and chase to order or pay. Still this was a very good restaurant, everything my wife and I ate were very tasty.
