Lovely atmosphere overlooking the New Brighton Pier. Food was tasty but nothing to rave about, I expect the view keeps this place in business.
Lovely eggs Benedict and Hummingbird coffee. Nice day
Good views with average food. Coffee wasn't great.
Try the "Indulgence Platter"!
Happy hour Fridays from 4 to 6:30, a nice platter for each group.
Went with family for a nice lunch. Service was bad. Not welcoming, polite or hospitable.Food was good aside from the brownie for dessert which was stale. When we approached the waitress about this she offered no apology and rudely asked if we wanted a new one or a refund. $5 was put on our table without a word. Service was terrible.
We planned a night out without the kids. Purchased a grab one voucher and was really looking forward to the meal. With mains at $30 to $40 we thought we were in for a really lovely dinner. Big mistake! The meals were terrible. I had the scallops with bacon and cauliflower puree for entree. The scallops were over cooked and tasted like rubber. My partner had the seafood chowder. It was watery with a few small prawns in it. I suspect all of the seafood was out of the freezer! The mains were even worse. We ordered the Flintstone ribeye steak. The steaks were inconsistently cooked, over in some places and well under in others. It was chewy and had a very unpleasant texture. The salad was drenched in dressing and looked old. The chips were well overcooked. The experience was overall extremely poor and we would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone else!
