Clearly the to-go place for expats in Sfax. Shame about the smoke! The old guy that so many reviewers mentioned is still there and worth going there for. He really cares about whether people like his cooking or not! Their fish soup is very good, and so is the local specialty "Brik". I had the Baghdad one, not exactly healthy but very heart-warming food. Oh, and they serve alcohol.
I consider this restaurant to be the 2nd best in Sfax ( the Le Corail is the best) Fair priced menu, with a good selection of dishes served pleasantly by good staff. The salads are excellent and the general ambience of the restaurant is excellent. I found the Dourade fish dish to be particularly tasty. Never tried the couscous, but colleagues told me that was fine too. John F Butters
