I was taken here as part of my birthday weekend & it was a most enjoyable meal. The decor is very welcoming & the staff friendly & extremely attentive. The menu is varied & caters for all tastes, also their is a wide array of soft & alcoholic drinks with cocktails to die for!! My daughter & I shared a starter, both had burgers for main & then there was the dessert. Well, what can I say? It was a sharing fondue platter & my daughter had obviously had a quiet word with the staff as, it came out with "happy birthday" written & lit candles around the base. We also had 4 cocktails between us & coffees, which enjoyed round the open fire. The ambience of the whole place is conducive to an excellent dining experience & the price was, in my opinion, very competitive.
This special restaurant tucked away on George St has a wonderful ambiance with large tables for big group and small booth's for the intimate dinner. The food is excellent and served by kind curtious staff. The Jurassic steak is something else, the staff will be pleased to explain this unusual cut of meat and the taste has to be sampled to appreciated Highly recommended I will definitely go back on my next visit.
Booked for dinner as part of a work night out at Christmas so it was a set meal. Meal was lovely, soup, turkey then a nice desert. Little bit cramped but as expected for the festive period. Staff were very attentive. Will definately be back outwith the festive period for lunch or dinner
This was our second experience at this restaurant. The food is good but a bit on the expensive side. The atmosphere is interesting and different, but I found it a bit noisy as the music volume was a bit high and the restaurant surfaces tended not to absorb sound from surrounding diners. The service was very good and overall I found this to be a good experience.
