After the worlds longest flight the bbq was nearly worth it
Order combo if your hungry!
I tried the brisket it's not so good as I got in Austin, but still wonderful to try the authentic taste when having a connecting flight here.
Really good airport food! The pulled pork is especially legit. If you can seeing through do it. Urban taco is also really good.
YES! They sell sauces and rubs there too! A great bite to eat on a layover.
Rubbery and dried out horrible brisket. When I asked, I was told its frozen and flown up from Austin twice a week. Bad choice!
The bbq is good, but I really liked the self-serve bbq sauces so I could mix & match the tastes on the same sandwich.
More meat and way less bread. Can't say it was great, but Lone Star and Red Barn are still much better in McAllen.
Not even close to the real thing (obviously). But the sliced brisket is a solid option for a layover at DFW.
