市立函館博物館

The Municipal Museum of Correspondence and Local Information Museum is a collection of tools and information about the times of Meiji, Dazheng and Zhaohe. Here you can see the Western Mirror, the worn rickshaw and the foreign products. The museum also reproduces the past life scenes of the Hakodate through the model. People in suits and hats or traditional Japanese kimonos come and go in a continuous stream and are very lively.

To be honest, it seems that more people come to visit Japan than tourists.
