Dined at La Pentola on 17 June 2016 and was overwhelmed by the welcoming reception. Falcon was amazing with all his input about the food as well as his family history in the restaurant business. Chef Shane Sauvage presented gastronomic food. We enjoyed all three meals we had. Wonderful evening
Forget about the decor, the ocean views are lovely, but it is the food that takes your breathe away in this restaurant. It never fails to delight. You always end up leaving and wondering when your next appointment with deliciousness in this wonderful place will be. Today was no exception. I had the smoked duck in phyllo pastry starter. It was fabulous. My husband had the ostrich and cranberry starter, which was also lovely. But it was the main course that blew me away. That KWV fillet was so good, possibly the best steak I have ever had, I had to keep closing my eyes to enjoy all that divine flavour. My husband had the mushroom pasta that was also really good. Thank you to Shane, Hugo, and great staff for an unforgettable taste experience.
