更多天后宮位於西貢的華人區,是當地華人的信仰中心。天后宮始建於1761年,是胡志明市華人廟宇尤為宏大、古老、具曆史文化價值的古迹之一。採取中國古代建築方式,磚牆不露縫,廟內外的陶飾取材於中國典故。
天后宮保存著許多珍貴文物,如中國清乾隆六十年鑄造的銅鐘和銅香鼎、清嘉慶五年(1800年)懸於廟內中殿上的大型牌匾“含宏光大”等。廟前一對石獅子已屹立了百餘年。
