Food are serve with big portion and all of them are extremely tasty especially the "LAKSA". Everyone should try it especially for those students who came from Singapore and Malaysia, if you feel like eating Singapore and Malaysia food, you must come to this restaurant and try rather than having fake Sing&Malay food in other restaurants. In addition, boss and lady boss of this restaurant are very friendly!
As a Singaporean, this cafe offers 100% legit Singaporean cuisine here in Tasmania! They don't serve "Singapore noodles" here because that's American-Chinese crap.
Singapore Hor Fun
Authentic taste of asian food!
Excellent Singaporean restaurant, just what central Hobart needs, they do fresh juices and frappes too and like many Asian restaurants they have a friendly family run atmosphere. The only issue i have is tgat it shurs at 7pm...too eatly for me! Other than that i have visited many times by myself and with my uou g children and it's been consistanly good.
Hor Fun taste good!
Im from Singapore and the food here just doesnt cut it. If you think this is good enough
The laksa is packed full of flavour! Haven't had laksa like this since I left Malaysia. Hainan chicken rice reminded me of home. Good but not the best I've had. What let it all down was the service. The lady was polite but it was the serving of the food that will need severe polishing or they will start losing customers. The waitress didn't seem to understand that she had to serve the food based on the dockets. It felt as though she was serving the dishes via her memory of who came first and who ordered what. Someone ordered laksa before us and we got laksa first. The rice I ordered I believe was given to another table. My partner had finished his laksa and I had to wait another 15 minutes before mine came. It's wasn't just my table.the table beside that I believe received the rice that I ordered waited for their laksa for so long even when I left, they haven't got their 3rd dish yet. I hope they refine their service and continue to serve good food.
If you're Malaysian or Singaporean in Hobart, this is as close as it gets to home!
