Located right on the corner, on the second floor, you have a perfect view of the bridge, river and all the people who are milling around. The first floor is actually a confectionery store that sells the local matcha tea in all its different reincarnations. You have go through to the back of the store and up the stairs to get to the cafe. Prices are expensive for what you get. However you get a great view, its air conditioned and we found it perfect to take a break from all the walking around. Everything on the menu has a common theme. It's about 1000 yen per serving or more and its infused with matcha tea. Matcha ice cream, parfaits, dessert bowls. They have matcha cakes and even matcha noodles. If you don't like matcha tea flavor, don't come here but if you want to try different ways to incorporate matcha tea, this is a pretty good place to come.
