I ducked in because I could see they had river views. I thought they were being rude at first and it was a tourist trap but they were just trying to tell me in broken English that the riverside tables were reserved (and some people arrived for those tables before 6pm). No matter, I sat at the counter, which still had good views, and ate smoked duck, fried camenbert, the beans that came as a 300 yen cover charge, and some sake, all for 2060 yen and it was all very good. The set meal is 2160 yen but you probably don't even need it with the big range of small dishes like yakitori and tempura. I almost feel like going there again.
