Beautiful Royal Park with view of Buckingham palace - walking distance from the flat
One of Londons most beautiful parks, with lots of birds, water and green. Great for leisurely walks.
Every Sunday, I used to take a walk into St. James's Park; a beautiful meander around the ponds and gardens of Buckingham Palace. Entering near the St. James's Park tube station, I would exit at Trafalgar Square. The most riveting part of the adventure to me was spotting the ducks. There are dozens of species of them floating around the waters, and the park gives a full description of each of them. A charming activity for a Sunday, and given the crowds, apparently thought by many.
Relaxing and fun..... Specially in spring and summer time !!
One of my favorite parks when I'm in London. There are lots of ducks, swans, and other birds. There's a lake, a fountain, a restaurant (Inn The Park), paths for walking/running, lots of grassy spots to relax or sit down and enjoy your lunch. Close walking distance to Churchill War Rooms, Trafalgar Square, Green Park, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace to name a few.
