I always thought that I preferred ramen to udon, but I obviously just never had great udon noodles. They are hand-made here and not too doughy/chewy. We had the miso carbonara udon and the mushroom udon, and both were delicious, although the carbonara was (not surprisingly) very rich.
Uni udon was okay. Noodles were really good though. Always try to arrive well in advance of closing. Otherwise you may not be seated.
Do try the Mentai Squid Butter Udon.
The negitoro bowl is unreal!!!
Fantastic udon here. So unique and creamy. I definitely recommend this place for lunch or whenever you would like to eat here.
