As a regular yum cha consumer in Sydney, we tried this place in Melbourne. The food was a bit different to what we were used to, and sad to say, BETTER. This was great, so much so we went back the next day for a second feed. The Ginger Prawns and Ginger Beef are the best dishes, closly folllwed by the "Football" pork buns.
Tried yum cha and dinner at Dragon Boat at Little Bourke Street. Food is not bad and service good except for one a bit plumb lady she is very unfriendly and bad service. Compliment goes to one abit elderly man who gave us the best service when we asked him for advice and direction.
We came here after the Melbourne Grand Prix and were expecting good things. The food was very good, however the lack of service or attention from any staff after they had taken our order was disappointing. We had to wait ages for our food and even longer for the bill....so long that we went up to the till area to ask for it again and to wait and pay it there. If your not bothered about the service then your onto a potential winner.
