Huey's Southwind

A few things you should know before you go: 1) 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill; 2) you don&apos;t have the same server throughout your meal; 3) you won&apos;t get real utensils, but plastic ones and 4) no actual plates, either paper plate or it&apos;s served in a basket.  The person I was with ordered the steak sandwich with fries. You couldn&apos;t easily bite into to sandwich, so they had to cut with...with a plastic knife and fork. As you can imagine, it wasn&apos;t an easy task. The steak was cooked to their preference and it tasted good. The fries were half cold, half warm (not hot at all) and really weren&apos;t that good. I ordered the french dip sandwich with the steamed veggies. The sandwich had plenty of cheese, which I enjoyed, but the temperature of the sandwich wasn&apos;t consistent. One bite would be warm (not hot at all), the next would be cold. Overall, the sandwich tasted good. The veggies don&apos;t get. While hot and on the crisp side (which I prefer) some of the veggies tasted old. The reuben sandwich was good. Could have used more sauerkraut, but that&apos;s personal preference. The thousand island dressing comes on the side so if you don&apos;t like it, no worries. We also ordered two drinks so our bill was over $80. While the food was good overall, if I&apos;m paying $80, I&apos;d like a real knife, fork and plate. 

Not Bad, But Not Great

Fast service great food. The mini burgers were delicious and I had the shrimp Poor Boy. The romolade had just the right anoint of heat. The manager checked on us twoce!

Recently I went to the Southwind Huey&apos;s located near Winchester Rd. in Memphis, TN.  I ordered a curbside order and because it was raining I went inside.  The order was past due and may have not even started.  On top of that the order was wrong, there were food items on the burger that I did not order and the patty was very burnt.  I think I waited for about 20 minutes or longer after the expected order time and only got the order then because I had to ask again.  The servers and staff are very busy but the service and product quality was not what it should have been.   Other Huey locations may be better but this place was not well managed or run.  I would recommend if you still want want to go to Huey&apos;s, maybe try another location.

Curbside order wrong time and wrong order- bad experience

最近,我去了位於TN孟菲斯溫徹斯特路附近的南風惠伊。我訂購了路邊訂單,因爲下雨,我進去了。訂單已經到期了,可能還沒有開始。最重要的是訂單是錯誤的,漢堡上有我沒有點的食品,餡餅很燒。我想我在預期的訂單時間後等了大約20分鐘或更長的時間,然後才得到訂單,因爲我不得不再次詢問。服務器和工作人員非常繁忙,但服務和產品質量不是應該的。其他Huey位置可能更好,但這個地方管理或運行不良好。我建議如果你還想去惠伊,也許試試另一個位置。

路邊訂錯時間訂錯-體驗不好

Hey I went to Huey&apos;s Southwind location last night and had the worse experience ever from a racist rude bartender named Erin. My friends and I ordered drinks but they were not made the way we requested so we explained that to Erin who didn&apos;t properly greet us when we sat down. Erin proceeds to talk to us in a very rude manner complaining to us about drink order which wasn&apos;t right. Erin then started to talk down to us especially to my girlfriend then when she spoke back Erin got belligerent with her saying you not going to talk me any kind of way then told my girlfriend to shut up/stop talking basically like she was a child which did not go well so things escalated were Erin told us to drink our drinks and get the blank out. I asked for the manager who name was Ben hoping that management would fix the situation he at first tried to fix the situation but the bartender kept talking to him about us sitting at the after we talked to him and let things go, Ben then asked us to move from the bar to a table (offering complimentary drinks) because of the bartender yet he told us not to worry about the bartender anymore he would take care of us which was kind of a slap in the face with us because why should we have to move to a table because Erin has an attitude and issue serving us when she caused the problem. As we got ready to leave Ben asked about paying our tab when he already said he would take care of it and offered more complimentary stuff if we moved to a table from the bar but we decided to leave because the experience left a bad feeling with us. On top of that when I tried to take care of the tab that Ben said he was going to be taken care on top of Erin telling us to drink our drink and get out gratuity was added to the ticket but why should we have gratuity when Erin had an attitude and refused to serve us I guess we should pay for bad service and to be talked crazy to by Erin. I would like to hear back from Huey&apos;s Corporate to resolve this issue, if not further 

Bad Experience
