Yes, there was a time when pizza was quite new in Milan, almost exotic. This family was serving it - at a former location. We have eyewitnesses of the current owner of this pizza joint helping serve and clear tables at that former location more than 40 years ago. As luck would have it, pizza is as good here as it was there - arguably the best in its kind in town. Mind you, this is thick and large pizza served by the slice "al trancio" (one big round serves six to eight), quite different from the thin one you will find more often and from the original Naples-style pizza (yes, you can find that in Milan, that's another story - check out a few other reviews). Price is also very reasonable - if you stick to pizza. Other dishes in the menu look more pricey.
Waited 45 mins on the night of the Derby, had decided to order from menu and not pizza to hasten things a bit. Bad mistake, took just as long and when I arrived home (5 min walk) found food was stone cold. Disgraceful!!!!
