I had the chance to have a brunch on sunday at Delicatissimo, with the family and I found the experience remarcable. Michele, the F&B manager, has gone through a strict process of selection in order to assure the best quality on the table: organic meat, chicken bred in open air facilities, the best rice and italian pasta on the market. All this cooked with style and fantasy. Not far from the Zara metro station, Delicatissimo is your place if you want to relax and enjoy healthy and good food in Milano.
I love finding new places where the owners are young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their food, whether it be the provenance or the preparation. At Delicatissimo, three of the owners have completed a masters program in food science with the Slow Food university and have successfully scouted out the best cured meats, cheeses, wines etc for their restaurant which features dine-in for lunch and carry out for your evening meal at home. Mozzarella is delivered fresh from Caserta every week and will definitely spoil you. Culatella di Zibello and salamis are from the best producer in Italy and great care is taken in the kitchen to provide you with healthy, fresh, sustainable products for your lunch. I highly recommend a visit here in a cute, eclectic zone in Milano not far from the metro stop Zara.
