This was a great surprise, in a good way!! I am used to pay the same amount for a eat as much as you can in Modena, for Japanese food, but in Milan was the first time. Very good quality and very fresh Japanse food, for only 12 Euros, mineral water and coffee included!! The menu for Italian food costed 7,50 euros if you want only one course + side plate, or 9,50 with 2 courses. Both of them also includes mineral water and coffee. To be honest, the portion of Gnocchi was enough for 2 people, for sure. If you want to eat well without spending much, thats a good place to go. for lunch they are open only until 2;30pm. The frequency was mainly locals, what indicates good price and good food, if you wish to scape from the very pricy Milan.
For 18 EUR in the evening (12 for lunch) you can choose any dish from the menu, as many as you like! It was so hard to choose, but it's not a problem, since for the fixed price you can try all the menu, which is varied - from sashimi to hot dishes. Regarding the quality of the food - everything I tried was tasty, though I wouldn't say those were the best rolls in my life. The fish was fresh, rice cooked well enough, generous filling. I had an impression that most of the maki were very alike though. Sashimi pieces were a bit too small, but the fact that you can order them endlessly redeems this flaw. The service was excellent - all the dishes arrived in timely manner. So if you crave some Japanese food, this place is perfectly fine only if you don't set high expectations.
Stuff your face with all-you-can-eat sushi & sashimi (and various other Japanese cuisine) of fairly good quality. Relatively cheap drinks, unlike many other eateries in the city (especially in the more touristy areas)!
One of the best sushi places in Milano. The menu is varied, and any choice is delightful. Great service as well. Totally recommended!
