On the cloudy day, Gu Yuli, Yan value directly hit a half price, did not have a thick to sad Okinawa blue, only to feel more sad. But thinking that this is a way to go, holding the "coming to come" mentality and thinking that after going back, you must be crazy later.
Drive past the Gu Yuli Bridge, opposite the ancient Yuli Island. Therefore, there is a view point on each side of the bridge, and the driver will show it to you. Here is the legend of the origin of the Ryukyu people. It is known as the "God Island" of Okinawa. It is also a circular island about 8km in diameter that floats on the north of the island. Japanese is pronounced Kouri, similar to the lover koibito, also known as Lover Island. The popular combination of MV has photographed the heart-shaped reef MV on the island, deepening its romantic color. The
Gu Yuli Bridge was built in 2005. It is the longest of the free bridges in Japan. It is connected to the ancient islands of Gyuuli Island and Nago City in Nakijin Village. The straight bridge has a beautiful curved undulation, and both sides are jewel-green beauty sea. There is also a group of shots in the film "Love Okinawa", which is driven by Leslie Cheung. It is a bridge to witness the famous scenes. On the other side of the
bridge is the ancient Yuli Island with the birthplace of mankind. It is said that Adam and Eve of Okinawa lived and descended from the sky. There are large undulating green grasses in the distance. The ancient Yuli Ocean Tower is in the distance. It is the commanding height of the ancient Yuli Island. When the weather is good, it is very recommended to see the tower overlooking the ancient Yuli and the charming coastline in the distance. In addition, the beach under the bridge is also a good place to take pictures and play with water. It is not recommended for cold weather!
Hastily ended the visit to Gu Yuli Island and the entire chartered tour is over. When the driver took us to the northern hotel, it was 17 in the afternoon.
This is one of the better beaches in Okinawa. Relatively clean and not too commercialized. The beach was very clean when we visited. Apparently I heard that this place was called the lovers' beach as many young japanese love to date at this romantic location. Definitely a place to relax and take in the beauty of the area. Kouri beach is small, cute beach at the end of the bridge connecting Kouri Island with Yagaji Island. Not far from Nago. We parked on the right at the end of the bridge for 300¥ all day but there is a parking lot on the left where you can park for free. There is a small restaurant, an ice cream kiosk, vending machines and a small market selling fresh fruit, veggies, drinks, swimsuits and souvenirs. They also rent bikes. Water sports on the beach. Toilets, changing rooms and showers for free. You can also rent sun beds and umbrellas.
Great view and great drive along the bridge! Not tooo far from the south of Okinawa so much shorter and drive there still provided simple but good view after exiting the expressway but incomparable to ride up further northwards to Cape Hedo. The view of the bridge was amazing though! #wintergetaway
This beach is located on your right as you arrive on Kouri Island via the Kouri Bridge. Although the beach may not be the best snorkeling spot on the island, with its shallow, crystal-clear water and sandy bottom it provides a safe swimming experience for everyone, including children. Rental services for snorkeling equipment and beach parasols, a shop, restrooms and shower facilities are available.
Ruin of Nakijin Castle, a former Ryukyu Castle on Okinawa, Japan. What's left of the castle ruins are stone walls of the castle, and leaves the visitor to his/her imagination of what the castle would have looked like in its hey days. An artist impression based on historical records would have given visitors a better perspective of the castle. But this was my favorite castle ruins because it has a great ang magnificient view of the ocean and a variety of flowers and butterflies around. Moving around the castle can be challeging for the older folks as there are steps to climb and the journey was a pretty long walk from the entrance.
if your in the area this site is worth a visit especially during the cooler months, there is a spectacular view from the top looking down over the ocean. one can grab a coffee or a drink from the vendors near the ticket office, my advice go early and admire this site. #wintergetaway
