Excelent bistro in upper east NY. The fondeau for two it very good and the 1/2 bottle Gilgondas 2010 it's perfect.
Expensive, but excellent bartender - so order a small dish, sit at the bar and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Nice dinner spot as well.
Just fun, once you get its rhythm, esp for the bartenders!
Sole fillet is amazing. Never smell fishy at all, texture is so tender, and the portion is big. The best fish dish I ve ever had in a french place on the UES.
Good bar service and good buzz throughout.
