Was driving around the West Village looking for a place to eat. Saw this place and went in. The first thing you notice is the size of the place, not very big at all. The next thing you notice is the quality ingredients and cleanliness. The menu selections all looked appetizing but i opted for the #3, Grande something or other. Ingredients were very fresh, they built the sandwhich with a perfect mix of ingredients (not to much of one thing or another) on nice fresh bread they baked there. Sandwhich could have been bigger but for the price, in lower Manhattan, well worth it. Definitely be returning with my lunch card!!
You have to have their prosciutto de parma panini. All deliciously fresh ingredients from the prosciutto, soft mozzarella, & basil leaves topped basil vinegar dressing to the crusted Italian bread warmed in the oven. It is the best. Very generous size too. I can't go in there and order any thing else because it is so delicious. It is only a very small sandwich shop with one or two tables inside, but it is so worth going to. You will feel like you stopped into a deli in Italy.
