A nice pub in the heart of Norwich, selling good beer and nice home cooked food. They also have a deal with the Australian pie company, which means you can get a pie with mash, mushy peas and gravy for only 5.95, which is excellent value! Table service for drinks on football days is a nice touch, and much appreciated if you don't want to miss a minute of the game!
Visited the pub for lunch while shopping in Norwich and ordered the Pie on the special board and then told it would take 30 minutes to order in from the shop down the road change my order to an all day breakfast and then told that they had no Gas to fry the eggs with and would have to have scrambled instead knife & folk came up in a wet serviette and the tomato sauce lid was dirty with clumps of dried tomato in the lid It looks like it could be a nice pub if only the management got there act together and sorted these issues out. I would never go there again.
