Three weeks in Florida and you would think we would have had enough burgers - well to be honest we had. All types of burgers, so when Beth's was recommended, we had our doubts as to what to expect. Downtown Orlando has improved vastly over the years and has become a young vibrant place. Beth's is close to the busiest area but far enough away to be able to park easily. Always a plus when in Orlando. It's a clean, no frills, straight forward, basic, burger bar. Back to the "old" days! My husband and I ordered different burgers but the sons decided to do "Beth's challenge" which is eating an ultimate burger in under 10 minutes. One son completed the challenge, the other son managed to eat half of the burger! Which gives an idea of how HUGE it is! The burgers are delicious, not just patty meat - it's real steak burgers. The flavours from all the ingredients, all come together and blend in a mouth watering blissful bite after bite. We also had sensational chilli cheese fries and onion rings - I don't like onion rings but these are to die for! Treat yourself to a real burger and go to Beth's you won't be disappointed, it's chalk and cheese if you compare it to the big M!
So in search of an inexpensive place to get good food, we tried Beth's Burger Bar. The place is clean and a throwback to the American Graffiti decor. The friendly staff is attentive and ready to take your order. They have a good selection of cold beer and soft drinks but let's get to the meat of this....the burgers are great! Flavorful, prepared to specifics and quick to your table. Beth knows that it is quality ingredients that make a burger tasty, not the celebrity behind the brand. This place is on our go-to list for burgers around town.
Beautiful evening for a pizza burger and tots with my best friend who ordered the peanut butter burger. Both were really good and the service great. The hip hop on the jukebox drove us outside and I consider that a great thing because the weather was perfect. The buns were fresh and just made and the tots were crunchie. The place is nice but had some age on it. For a meal on a budget downtown you cannot beat the price for the quality.
