Abner, our server was up to par. Each time we visited he remembered our order and asked if we wanted the same. The staff were always cleaning and picking up. Even on a busy Sunday, there was very little wait time. I always enjoy eating at Denny's, but this one could train all the others on how to do it right.
So when your options are down at 11:30pm you go against what you already know and you give in to Denny's. Disappointed with the quality and the portion of my skillet. As soon as my server set it down I thought where's the rest of it. Looks as if the cook realized he shorted the plate on portion so just scatter it around to make the plate looked full. The picture of the meal on the menu as well as the the poster advertisement shows the skillet loaded to the edge of the plate. Now I'm not asking it to be 100% the way the picture shows but it should be close. Coffee was terrible they should take a page from Bob Evans on that one. I should have just picked up a chimichanga at 7 eleven and called it a day.
After being at a birthday party a few of us opted to at this Dennys to finish out the night with some coffee and drinks. We get there and it's not that busy for a Saturday night at 10:30 pm. We are seated right away and our drinks come quickly BUT we should have known when the coffee was like warm to cold that it wasn't going to be a good night. We ordered our food and waited almost 45 minutes to get it and when we got it it was cold. And in the 45 minute wait we were only offered 1 refill. We ask for the manager and she is not happy that we are asking for the food to be remade. She did apologize and said the shift change was the issue - she ckaims.to have remade the order herself but the new order may have come out hot but then order wasn't correct and food was over done. My friend asked for a discount and the manager was even more upset. And gave us a 35% disc. In the meantime others have come in and it took someone almost 5 minutes before they were acknowledged - only to be told when they were acknowledged that it would be another 5-10 mins before they can be seated. The place was empty but obviously it was understaffed. Sorry! Won't be back - just terrible service and attitude!!
