I can't say enough about this place. Great atmosphere, wonderful food, friendly staff, and great drinks! You've got to check this place out! I'll be going back again and again.
The food (especially the French toast), service and location were awesome. We ate outside on a beautiful day. Fans we're running, so we did not sweat much. Every employee was smiling, appeared to enjoy their job and checked on us regularly. Definitely exceeded my expectations!
While visiting from out of town, my friend brought me here. We had a delightful dinner on Saturday evening. There was a lot going on, in town, so it wasn't too crowded. We sat at the bar. I ordered a spicy bloody mary, it was the BEST I have ever had! For me, dinner was an amazing pear/gorgonzola salad, with a parmesan dressing. The portion was generous, as flavors danced upon my palate. My dining companion ordered ceviche. Normally, this would not appeal to me......I tried hers. It was INCREDIBLE. Definitely ordering that next time!! The servers promptly refilled our water and were friendly, attentive, but not hovering. The couple next to us ordered a flourless chocolate dessert and the diner's moans of delight were audible to us.
We decided to meet for happy hour at Santiago's Bodega last Friday . Reservation is highly recommended. The restaurant has a tapas area and a bar. The atmosphere is fun, great professional croud, great wine list. The tapas are absolutely delicious we had a great time . Good for dates, small groups . Fun and very tasty. Will definetly go back!
After reading the reviews, I was anticipating greatness. That's always a mistake. We started with the 4 of us ordering soup, (3 different kinds), and 3 of the 4 soups were cold. Not a good start. The salad was delicious. But all the other tapas' were just okay. I love the idea of small plates, but I can't mention one that I would order again. Even the dessert, (coconut cake) was right out of the refrigerator.
