the restaurant has character but seats appear oddly positioned. Set lunch for 2 including a diet Coke cost 47.7 Euros. The diet Coke was small; good to see granary bread but without butter or olive oil it was dry and I'd suggest overcooked. The set main course of turkey curry with rice or chips was OK but unexciting; the small tarte tatin was tasty. Service was OK but it did not feel like value for money even at £18 per person.
The restaurant was busy, so the service was slow, but the staff were very friendly. The food tasted great, we ordered a pizza and a bagel. We ordered soft drinks, and these were overpriced. The diet cola in a cup didn't taste all that good. I'd have given it a higher rating if not for the drinks.
