Very small restaurant, over the road from our hotel, serving food from Uzbekistan. Probably fits fewer than 20 people, and we got the last available table on a Tuesday night (which we took as a good sign). Service was friendly, food was of good quality. Not sure how vegetarians would fare, though, as the cuisine seems quite meat heavy. A Georgian rose was a nice surprise. All in all, a lovely little place, worth a visit.
We were surprised to find this interesting restaurant in Paris. We actually went back a second time because we liked it so much. The soups were terrific, as was the lamb rice. The bread, which the waiter told us was flown in from Ukraine, had a very unique taste. The first time, the bread was soft and delicious. A few days later, the bread was a bit less fresh. I have never seen a restaurant with authentic Uzbekistan food in the US, but we really enjoyed it.
