I had the chance to visit Notre Dame sadly after the fire ruined the back part of the cathedral, because it was made of wood, so it was easily caught on fire. But luckily, the front part still looks very beautiful, and if you just stay at the front parr, you couldnt tell that something happened before. The Seine river beside this cathedral makes it look even more pretty. I didnt have the chance to go inside because it was closed for renovation at that time.
I was lucky enough to have the chance to visit this beautiful Cathedral in Paris before the tragic fire destroyed part of the structure. It is indeed a beautiful church with so many splendid artifacts inside like colored tainted glasses, sculptures and wall paintings. And there was a powerful and poignant air of Christianity inside the Cathedral when I paid my visit there. It is definitely a place of attraction one must visit in one's life time and I hope it can be repaired and renovated as soon as possible so that it will be restored to become one of the most impressive places of architecture in human history.
Unfortunately, much has been damaged, but I hope you find the glory of the day again
A really amazing structure. Such a beautiful sight to see. 100% recommended.
Beautiful architecture despite the fire that burned the roof the past months
Notre Dame is arguably one of the most famous churches in history, only slightly less famous than St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Most of us grew up with the Disney classic based off Victor Hugo's work (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), and seeing it in person does not disappoint. The entry is free, although if you want the audio tour or to climb the tower, it does cost a small fee, if you want to go inside, get there early!! Notre Dame is also a great place for worship as well. For anyone of the Christian faith, it is a cool experience to pray in a place that people have been praying for centuries.
