Will always be my favorite museum in Paris, even though it took quite a few visits for me to get there!
A museum dedicated to the works of the French sculpture, Auguste Rodin. Many of his work and sculptures are displayed in the museum’s extensive garden, offering a great alternative if you want to view artwork in the great outdoors and in natural light and settings. Entrance fee is reasonable, so go appreciate art in a whole new perspective whilst enjoying the Parisian weather.
Delightful home tuned into museum with garden filled with Burghers of Calais, the Kiss and other Rodin masterpieces. Wander around these sculptures and try not to cry when you think of your own crummy attempts in pottery class. Once you have recovered go to the Latin Quarter and see Rodin's sculpture of Hugo. It will never look the same after you have seen Rodin's discarded versions including one of Hugo au naturel in the same pose. Got to say, the clothes make the man. Cheer yourself completely back up by sitting in a sidewalk cafe and having a glass of wine.
