A lonely cypress tree stands on a rock, facing the surging sea. This solitary cypress is located 17 miles near the Garden Rock Beach. It has a sign on it, but it is easy to miss if you don't pay attention to it. Free parking nearby makes it easier to view.
The solitary cypress on the Pebble Beach is the most famous photographic spot along the Seventeen Mile Bay. Standing alone on a cliff by the sea, it witnesses the ebb and flow of the Pacific Ocean. From all angles, you can shoot from the fence next to the road, or down to a scenic spot below, near the lonely cypress tree. There is also a nameplate beside the road in memory of Samuel Finley Brown Morse, the environmentalist and founder of Pebble Beach.
The lonely cypress that passes along the Seventeen Mile Bay is called the lonely cypress because it grows there alone. There weren't many people when we came, so we could take pictures as much as we could.
