We visited this place as it was in walking distance from our Hotel. It's a great like-able cafe & bistro if you are close. We had both had set menus and they worked out just great. Taste explosion from the anchovies in the salad, fresh ingredients throughout and great wine for just $1 extra. Salad, a little bread, pecorino pasta, a glass of Sauvignon & a Banana & caramel cake to finish. Perfect late lunch. Service brilliant! Cheers.
I must say while the entrance is really nice, I was underwhelmed by the interior and the menu. Neither seemed to match what I was expecting. However, after the first bite I forgot about any complaints I may have had. Absolutely superb. I will be returning to Phnom Penh shortly and this is the only restaurant I will make a point to go out of my way to re-visit.
I live and work close to Le Point and frequent this lovely restaurant several times a week, both by myself or with my family. I have been doing this for well over a year since I discovered this charming place and I have to say in all honesty every visit is a most pleasurable, relaxing, indeed tranquil experience. Everything about it is just right. The very friendly, helpful and dedicated staff are extremely warm and welcoming. The high quality of the food never disappoints. The ambiance of the place, both inside the restaurant and in the shaded courtyard, is soothing to say the least. Small touches too such as the background music is well chosen and just at the right comfort level. Once you enter this oasis, the bustling and hectic city life outside is instantly forgotten. In all sincerity, this is by far my favourite cafe/restaurant/bistro in Phnom Penh. Sublime!
