My boyfriend and I were staying at the King Grand Boutique Hotel which is directly oppsite the Sher-e-Punjab. We went to have dinner there and it was the best food we'd had throughout our entire 3 week trip to Vietnam & Cambodia. The vegetable samosas were by far the best I've ever eaten, so flavourful and perfectly seasoned. We also had the Dahl Balti, which was again the best I've ever had at an Indian restaurant anywhere. The food took a little bit to come out but that's how we knew that all of our food was cooked fresh. The owners were friendly and helpful. Our meal cost us around $25 USD including entree, drinks, naan bread, rice, 2 curries and some take away. Wish we'd gone back there again!
first time Went there me alone after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. The place does good look like much form the street the food was veg thali the food is excellent and the prices vary reasonable.the staff was very friendly service excellent cold water free if you're looking for a good Indian restaurant Riversides h Sher -E-Punjab Street (130) riverside Phnom Pen..
what more can you ask for. A bit away from the main road and you have to look for it to find it. But it's definitely worth the search. Very tasty Indian standards and a bit of nepalese touch (good momos) quick friendly service you get your free water als soon aus you seated and the food is delicious and the beer very cheap. Go there and you will enjoy it of you like indian food.
We ate there once and it was ok for a curry in cambodia only problem is you have to order before 10pm
