We been here Wednesday jun 1 with my sister the foods were great. Service was excellent. Nice atmosphere & ambiance nice view from upstairs. Great hospitality. We'll be right back again here
I've been in Lakeside a few days now and a lot of the restaurants have been unable to cook naan due to the fuel shortage. However, this restaurant not only made naan but made dishes we were unable to find anywhere else. Just that in itself is impressive! The food was tasty, service was friendly and quick and the prices were reasonable. The curry I tasted did taste slightly better at the other version of Almond Cafe (which is a bus ride away towards Berger in a place which sounds like 'New Road') but it was still tasty here. Craving naan? Go to Almond Cafe. They can help you.
We loved Almonds, really good Indian food for a great price. We were in the Lakeside branch, it's just down the road from Maya Pub with a nice upstairs balcony overlooking the street. We went a bit wild and ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Sag, Vegetable Curry, Peshwari Naan, Garlic Naan (which were HUGE!) and two rice between the two of us - it was a lot of food! Absolutely delicious though, and I think it was only about 2000 rps for all that food and a couple of beers. Wonderful place!
