Alexander Garden is located in a rectangular park outside the walls of the Kremlin Palace. There is a famous Tomb of Unknown Martyrs in the garden. It was built on the eve of Victory Day in 1967. There is an indelible torch in front of the tomb. It is a landmark monument and a triumphal arch near the National Museum of History. The gardens consist of upper gardens, middle gardens and lower gardens with a total length of more than 900 meters. The Arc de Triomphe in Russia is comparable to the Arc de Triomphe in France. It was built to commemorate the defeat of Napoleon by the Russian army in 1812. Correspondingly, it commemorates the statue of Marshal Zhukov, the hero of the patriotic war.
